Our Approach
At Miller Interior Design, our service areas span from Seattle to Paris. Led by Keith, our team brings luxury, functionality, and personalized style to homes across multiple counties.
We understand that navigating interior design can feel like visiting a foreign country without a guide, confusing and potentially costly. That’s why we’ve developed our three-phase approach: planning, procurement, and project execution.
Whether you need a complete home transformation or guidance on selecting the perfect furnishings, our expertise is available throughout our specialized services in each region.
Local Expertise
We’re based in the Seattle region, offering dedicated local coverage for clients throughout Washington, including San Juan Island, Bellevue, Langley, Eastsound, and the surrounding regions. By choosing our local expertise over generic online design services, you’ll benefit from our established relationships with contractors and knowledge of municipal regulations. Our clients can save significant time and money, with project timelines substantially reduced compared to homeowners managing renovations independently.

Exquisite style and taste and amazing heart! Definitely vote for Keith!
My family and I moved from the D.C. area to Lakewood WA. My wife and I are both in the Army and being stationed at Fort Lewis. As these things can be very stressful I decided to surprise her when we get there with a house that is completely set up. Normally we would have to get there and unpack all of our belongings and put things where they need to be. A time consuming, exhausting and stressful venture to say the least. I was not at all familiar with what interior designers have to offer so I looked on Google, found Keith Miller, and decided it wouldn’t hurt to send an email to see if he would be interested in helping with my project. From the very first email, he has been nothing but helpful and professional. We discussed a few main points and then I realized I needed to let him know I was on a pretty firm budget to get the things that we discussed accomplished. He tailored our discussions accordingly, told me what he could do for my money but more importantly didn’t treat me any differently when he realized I couldn’t spend money recklessly. After what seemed to be 100 emails and a few phone calls and texts, Keith went to the property I will be moving to so he could scope out the situation. I sent him a list of measurements of our furniture along with a quick video so he could see what he would have to work with. Within a few days I had pictures, videos and a diagram of how he saw all of my things going into our new home. Keith has given me numerous options with a very well thought out, detailed plan that included pictures, links, graphic renderings of the house along with his ideas for making it all come together. It’s not only the professionalism that I enjoy but also the genuine caring attitude he has taken towards me and my family. He spent what must have been hours writing me an email with ideas for our trip across the country. I was completely blown away. Keith has taken what is normally an extremely stressful situation for military families (we have a 2 year old) and made it something to look forward to. I truly do consider him a friend. The bottom line is he is a really good person willing to go the extra mile for his customers. The words I write cannot explain the debt that I feel towards him for what he has done for me and my family. I highly encourage anyone thinking about using an interior designer to contact Keith.
Fantastic designer; excellent at helping you understand what’s in your head and how to make it happen in your space. Extremely resourceful with ideas, contractors and product. Highly recommendable.
Excellent experience working with Keith! He is the horse whisperer of interior design. He listens and comes up with fantastic ideas. I highly recommend him.
EXCEPTIONAL. We had a crazy schedule and cast of thousands. We had public tours scheduled at Going Green at the Beach, a deep green award winning home on the Puget Sound in WA. fun, helpful, caring, detailed, fresh, inspired….Keith. ZERO hesitation in suggestion Miller Interior Design.
I am clear across the country and Keith was most generous with his time and information.
We highly recommend Miller Interior Design–Keith offers a rare blend of artistic inspiration, careful integration, and pure joy in design. He has the ability to lift a built space into an experience of color, texture and life. His approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and yet manages to thoroughly guide a project to its goal with a strong sense of leadership. And you absolutely will enjoy every second of the ride! There is no one I’ve encountered in building who can carry a concept forward with more enthusiastic determination–this is no small thing: Keith is acutely aware of the realities of a budget and yet doesn’t lose sight of the richness good design brings to our lives.
Keith is a Super nice guy. He provided me very smart and practical thoughts on home furnishings. What’s clear in his work is that he is a great storyteller, with a unique color pallet!
Keith has a unique ability to understand and empathize with his client’s needs and wants. This is crucial for staying on the same page together as the project progresses through design and construction.
At the risk of sounding over-dramatic Keith Miller is a life savior!! My decorating taste is definitely colonial and within 10 minutes of speaking with Keith I knew he “got” the look and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Keith Miller of Miller Interior Designs is a committed professional with creative ideas, industry knowledge and is a pleasure to work with. We are currently working together on a variety of projects and being a Graphic Consultant for 22 years in the Seattle Area I have to say Mr. Miller is an absolute joy to work with.. Thanks Keith.. Keith is GREAT. We built a deep green home and his design and insights were so helpful. Hire Keith!!!
We hired Keith to design our wedding ceremony space. We gave him a lot of creative license (we were too busy to provide specific design requests) but only a small budget — and he completely blew us away with his creativity, his hard work, and his great attitude even under pressure. Keith was very good at intuiting our styles and tastes (nature-loving / hippy / tropical). He was able to design and install the space within our timeframe. Best of all, he was such a joy to work with — cheerful, accommodating, professional — I highly recommend Keith for any size project.
Keith Miller has transformed our home inside and out! For exterior paint, he chose six amazing colors that blend in with the surrounding while at the same time truly make the house stand out. For the interior, he has worked with us on paint colors, blinds, bathroom design, and carpet choice. All were superb! And this fall, he will work with us on a kitchen design. Keith is an expert at design, a true professional, and tons of fun to work with.
Keith is warm and engaging and does GORGEOUS work!
Keith has a unique ability to understand and empathize with his client’s needs and wants. This is crucial for staying on the same page together as the project progresses through design and construction. I’ve collaborated with Keith on 7+ projects, and he is consistently optimistic, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Miller Interior Design.
Keith’s joy is infectious. He started advising us on our remodel when we had all the studs exposed. His guidance is helping us put our house back together knowing we’re on the right track.

Keith helped us find our style and then designed our dream home around it. Before this project, we had tried many different decorating schemes and while they were “fine”, Keith helped us understand why we like the things that we do. He was a pleasure to work with, always bringing his best but willing to change direction at our request and respectful of our budget. We look forward to a time in the future where we can work with him again.
Keith brought us modern conveniences without losing any of the beauty and charm of our hundred-year-old home. Way beyond our expectations!
Keith has worked with us on a number of projects related to our non-profit (an historic landmark church building), primarily internal renovations and configuration-of-space improvements, but also color schemes for exterior work (the latter of which won an award from Historic Seattle in 2012). He is, in a word, brilliant, and I want to qualify that in two respects. One aspect of his brilliance is in the functional vision-to-execution capacity he has for a wide range and scale of projects: from small-scale “this is what we have to work with and can you please make it better” improvements, to large start-to-finish “dream” scale projects — such as our building’s long-term centennial renovation project. His capacity to “see” what is possible/desirable (to envision, to communicate and to bring about) is remarkable. The other way we experience his brilliance is in his skills in working with people, navigating the complex mix of personal preferences, budgets, circumstantial constraints, etc., with a sincere, artful care. We have seen both these dynamics repeatedly in Keith’s work with friends and community members as well, and the genuine satisfaction and improvement of quality of life that results.
Keith is great fun to work with. He is the most creative person I have ever met and so enthusiastic about every project. I live in a restored 1917 Craftsman house and collect both contemporary and fine art. I have a very eclectic style. Keith has pulled together all the things I love into a unique and wonderful combination of art and furnishings. He has created the most unusual and fun pieces of furniture (horn bench, yes!) and his fabrics and construction are always of amazing quality. I know I will never see my pieces repeated in another house. I love looking at the spaces in my house Keith has designed, they always make me smile! I never thought I’d find a design consultant who would understand my unique style, until I met Keith, he’s the best!
